Karrie Kingsley

Karrie L. Kingsley OTD, OTR/L (they/them/theirs) joined the USC Community in 2010 as faculty after working as a pediatric occupational therapist for ten years. They are a Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy within the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and serve as Director of Faculty and Staff Success for the USC Culture Journey team. Prior to the merger of the USC Office of Inclusion and Diversity with the Culture Journey, Karrie served as the Associate Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer for USC where they developed programs and infrastructure in response to community need. In their role they provide strategic advisement, support faculty and staff learning inclusive practices, and facilitate community building and restoration. Karrie is a nationally recognized content expert with publications on bias, health equity, disability, and LGBTQ2IA+ and gender expansive communities.
Karrie received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from California State University Long Beach and both their Master of Arts and Doctoral degrees in Occupational Therapy from USC. They hold certificates in restorative practices and intergroup dialogue.
