Param Mamania
Param Mamania is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Southern California (USC). Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering in India, where he was consistently ranked among the top 5 students in his batch. Param has accumulated substantial professional experience through internships at prominent organizations, including SLB (Schlumberger) and Ernst & Young.
For the Culture Team, Param is focusing on revising the Culture Journey website and, also, focuses on data analysis and supports pulling, analyzing, and supplying data to schools and units relating to the 2024 Culture Survey.
His technical proficiency spans multiple programming languages, including Java, Python, C++, and R, as well as web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various frameworks like Angular.js and React.js. Param is also experienced in machine learning tools and libraries, including Pandas, Numpy, and TensorFlow. Additionally, he has published several research papers in international journals, covering topics like text extraction from images using OCR and optimization of algorithms.
